Things I Love

Coffee probably tops my list
then it's rocks I can hold in my fist
postcards from friends on vacation
fresh ground roast coffee from the plantation
just love that fresh ground roast aroma
then I always wanted to visit the city, Roma
Then on to Paris and maybe London
back home I always keep the light on
of the dark I am afraid
but I love things that are hand-made
modern gospel music warms my soul
just as much as home-made soup in a bowl
reading biographies I find interesting
just as friends who are good at listening
sitting in my rocking chair
maybe even brushing my hair
spending sunset at the beach
eating a fresh golden Georgia peach
writing poetry is an absolute must
just as much as building God's trust
reading the Bible each day
is just as important as it is to pray
I could go on forever
God's universe is ever so clever!
