Things I Don'T Have To Do
I don't need to take the blindfold off
to see you
I don't need to listen to you
to hear you
I don't need to tell to how I feel
when it's all around you
you don't need to tell me anything
I'll never know
Blind leading the blind
trustingly from one situation to the next
Ignorance is bliss
Love all around
Intoxicated by sense and nonsense
I need to change it
but i don't know how
welcome to the party
I'll see you around!
I don't need to close my eyes
to remove you from my sight
I don't need to scream anymore
to stop the fights
I don't need to keep any secrets
from a world where there isn't any
you don't need to tell me anything
I'll never know.
I don't need to regret anything
that millions of people do
I don't need to laugh with the laughter
laughing at me laughing at you
i don't need to hide anything
from anyone
not even emberassments
or shame
I don't need to feed the anger poisoning me
or the doubts
beating on me
I don't need to analyse everything
or idolise those curing me
I don't need to open my eyes
to make you dream
and leave you blind
i don't need to justify justice
or avenge vengeance
and speak the reasons of my mind
I don't need to tell you
what you already know
but forgive me
for reminding you
I don't need to ask how you feel
when its all around me
but tell me again
you don't have to tell me anything
I'll never know
whatever that is......I don't know!
