Things About Me

I love the coral sunsets as I look out at the sky.
Watching as bats appear to drop by.
To stand in a grove of lemon trees and smell their yields.
Or inhale the scents from some lavender fields
To pick a tangerine in my parent’s yard
Or an orange to eat that is not too hard
I don’t like chartreuse and not to be mean
My favorite color is aquamarine.
To taste the rice with saffron flavor
Is an experience I definitely savor.
Eating a watermelon with its juicy drips
As I hurl the seeds away from my lips
Take drives along roads dressed in lilac on the sides
And scream to the air that I love the Crimson Tide.
