Hi Sara, I have an aunt who rarely buys clothes; she buys the pattern and material and makes her clothes. I’m sure she has used a thimble a time or two. Good Pleiades using the letter T. Have a wonderful day:-) Alexis

You know Sara, as a boy scout I was taught to use a thread and needle, but never used a thimble. Pity my wife has such a good sewing machine and I don't know how to use it.

Victor, You should take some sewing classes and learn how to use the sewing machine. I have a cousin whose husband bought her a sewing machine and she would not use it but he said if she wasn't he would and he did. He made many clothes for them. He was a career military man and was off for long tours of duty though and I am sure that hindered him in his sewing. Thanks for stopping by. Sara
