They Say the World Make Progress

They say the world make progress Today’s industrial developments Cause’s rainforest destruction If you to raise your objections Could face murder and abductions Every where people are dying By the hands of wicked man But we been warn of what to come In the bagwan gita: the bible and holy quran The governments says we are making progress But I don’t think it’s true Maybe I’m too sensitive It’s why I’m asking you Oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico Hundreds of species are no more Coalitions amass in Iraq Base on lies to start a war Some animals close to extinct So the rich can wear minks on their backs Then tell us how much they care Taking us for a bunch of jacks They say the world make progress And the future looks so bright But all I see darkness Tell me if you see the light A jumper standing on the ledge The bank about to take his home But when the banks steal our money The government gives them a loan Terrorist on the airlines Coal miners trap underground Children going to sleep hungry Whitney Houston will no longer sing a song Ozone causing global warming Ice caps melting away for sure India and Pakistan fighting for Kashmir When they were one country before The hopeless people of Palestine That whole world ignore Living in captivity When it was their land before Still they say its progress But I don’t believe their lies Tell if you see it Maybe something wrong with my eyes
