They Say He's a Loser

It was a normal afternoon
All I could hear was a happy tune
The tune of my life sweet as my dreams
The air of celebrations around me as it seemed.

I had a special person back then
Whose presence was enough to make my life heaven
I played in his lap and spent my childhood happily
And relived those memories, it felt like a fantasy!

But days to come had a big lesson to teach
I didn't realise it soon but the lesson was preached
Some people lost hope, Some cried all day long
For the special person of my life was being treated wrong

His smile faded, his tears falling short
Of the pain that he was experiencing forth
A lot more plots were yet to come
His scars destined to go deeper and become
the tokens of reward that he had achieved
For the old days when he had done great deeds
To the same people who considered him to be an Angel
And talked of doing absolutely anything if enabled

But never did they turn up in their own words
That's the rule of world that my special one never deserved
For now he had lost everything that he had
Even the handful of happiness was gone as falling sand

Days passed and things turned from bad to worse
The butterfly days were over and never probable to return
That's the lesson I deliver, to create memories with your loved one
Because you never know conditions that might lead to a different person
It might lead to someone whom you have never encountered
But seen in your entire life nevertheless in the same manner
The missing part has seemingly no justification
But that's a gift of fate which is their own creation....

Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God bless you.
