They Say

they say
stick and stones
may break my bones
but words will never hurt me
but words hurt more
which
we can not
bare
the feelings that nobody share
and yet they
judge
and stare
they say
their words aren't worth your tears
but if it hurts you
what is to be true
you to tell them wrong
or they prove self right
and laugh if they are correct
and whispers are endless
about you
but prove them wrong
everybody's perspective turns differently
about you and them
who show selves to be wrong
don't laugh at other mistakes
for yours will be laughed at
