THEY KNOW IT

I know their fears. I know their cravings. I know their reflexes. I know their thoughts. They know that I know who they are. I am exactly like them, but with a dose of Pan-African melanin. I’ve fully absorbed every mechanism of their domination. They’ll do everything to kill me, As they’ve always done with my ancestors. They’re lucky I’m still under their control. But one day, I’ll be in Africa. They’ll quickly realize I am no poet. They believed slavery and colonization would never need reparations. I love France, but I hate every man and woman Who took part in the persecution of my forebears, And who still contribute to the dehumanization of my Africanness since the slave trades. Let them stop calling me a Francophobe: My flesh and blood is French. I will never beg for liberty, equality, and fraternity. My humanity forbids me from being a movable object, a tool for exploitation. The pain of my color keeps me from celebrating xenophobia, negrophobia, submission, and servitude. With every media appearance of the brave souls from the Sahel, my heart rejoices. With every successful military action against the terroristic invasions Instrumentalized by the dark forces of Western imperialism, I love the universal force even more. My obsession is Africa’s total liberation. I dream of an Africa freed from imperialism and banana republics. Let them continue their negrophobic oppression: Their racist theatrics fuel my resolve. These supremacist racists build high-security prisons While their neocolonial multinationals have looted Africa’s riches for centuries. They complain about African immigration, Yet they’ve set up neocolonial military bases in Africa To secure the poaching of my continent’s natural resources. They endorse Africa’s most bloodthirsty dictators. They imposed their colonial currency on their outposts to loot African lands and raw materials. The African immigrant has become the scapegoat for the collapse of their failing system. They’ve never felt shame. They don’t know what shame is. They’ve never been held accountable. They tolerate the embezzlement of African public funds Solely to seize that financial windfall. They let their police commit deadly blunders with impunity. Their racialist media excel in demonizing immigration. They equate Islam with Islamism, Proselytism with fanaticism, without asking questions. As if all immigrants were terrorists on a mission to Islamize France. As if immigrants were to blame for declining birth rates.
