My first book of poetry, DREAMS REWRITTEN, is available on line at Barnes & Noble. Check it out.
There is a labyrinth
which draws the mind.
There is a maze
running through the corn.
Even the crow is pensive.
There is a certain derision
coming out of the chaff.
Cattle are calling with their eyes;
their eyes are full of sorrow.
They would sing the day-song,
strum a tune,
but they have no hands.
