They Don'T See the War
They don't see the war.
They think it's ahead.
They wait for it coming
and live with the dread.
They won't try to stop it
They think it's not here.
They think it is coming
from others they fear.
They do what they're told to
They trust they are safe.
They live for their government
and all feel the chafe.
They think it is progress.
They won't soon improve.
They think of no changes
and live in it's groove.
They say they can't fight it
They won't try to help.
They think it is futile
and all live to yelp.
They can't live together
They won't see the other
They think they're alike
till differences smother.
They come to an ending
they can't understand.
They all die together
in war hand in hand.
