They Don'T Feel It Like We Do

Why are we so darn stupid that we can't see the deepest love of all comes from a heart that suffers every kind of thoughtlessness and neglect and even abuse . They lick our hands and feet between the blows of indifference and abuse.   And we call THEM dumb.

The animals are a gift from God, As a servant to Mankind. From them we get some food and clothes, In them companions find. They bow down to our sovereignity, Accept our scraps as gifts. The slightest bit of gentleness, Their lonely hearts will lift. A dog will give his all, his life, Without a moments thought. In our defense they brave the worst, Our safety oft blood bought. They show us time and time again, What true love really is. Through sacrifice and patient love, How love accepts and gives. We take from them all they can give. We use, abuse, neglect. They're just anmals we say, We can't let them affect, The very way we live our lives, They're fine up to a point; But they're just animals, that's all, It's us God did appoint, As rulers over all the earth. We have the power of reason. The animals live for our use, To lift them's almost treason. They have flesh and they have blood, But they're not the same as us. They live to eat and sleep and breed. We use them as we must. They don't feel the same as us. Their pain threshold's much deeper. They fear, they love, they bleed, they die, In service to their keepers.

Truth, blunt truth, but that's the reality. I agree with everything that you have written. When I see someone hurting animals, I feel sad. Just because we are powerful physically, we hurt. I can go on and on in this topic. How many pet owners allow their pets to breed. Not many at least in India. You spoke for the voiceless. Great! Wonderful! Well done my friend. Enjoy your day. Take care, Rama

Animals also have a sense of dignity that really hurts if they know they are being ridiculed. I hate it when I see people teasing an animal. Then if they get bit they want that animal punished. I think the person should be puniswshed for causing the animal to bite. Thanks bunches my friend. God Bless, JB

I adore dogs, I had one for 15 years and it was so sad to see her go. Thank you for reminding me just how precious they are.
