They Died Too Young
They died too young.
Their songs forever unsung.
For us it just isn't fair.
No longer here to breathe the air.
Bruce and Brandon Lee lay to rest,
changing the world, for the best.
John Lennon's death was heard everywhere,
he wanted us all to have the world to share.
Kurt Cobain was only 27,
before his music was needed in heaven.
One of the coolest was James Dean,
lighting up the stage with every scene.
Jim Morrison brought us the Doors.
Brightening up his life and yours.
Heath Ledger was brilliant in his acting role,
but his smile will carry on in our soul.
Jimi Hendrix was crazy on the guitar,
helping us get out there real far.
It is a terrible shame they had to go,
but they all left us with a great show.
