They Could Not Intimidate Her
The nurses brought the cops in.
What the heck!
She was so angry now.
She told them she fell.
Twisted her arm during the fall.
Those other marks had nothing to do with it.
She was really angry now.
She refused to talk to them.
They threatened her.
Ha! She laughed to herself.
They would have to bring on more than that.
This was nothing.
They could not intimidate her.
He apologized over and over on the way home.
She knew it was a one-time deal.
He would never do it again.
He was contrite and sweet.
She loved him when he got this way.
She forgave him again.
She was totally sure it was the last time.
Always sure it was the last time.
