They Call It Insanity

War is its own impoverished state The ruler of this state is insanity. Born from the mind of those who seek revenge. From being born. The questions must be asked. How do you rule over a planet you'll never own? How many lives must perish for your eighty years of life? How many kingdoms will be built on top of yours, when you're gone? Who pays the price for what you call ambition? As you gather in all the wealth you can, and watch the tens of thousands suffer, as you gather. To what purpose? Self gratification.. How sad this ruler insanity, How lonely its world. Since the birth of mankind insanity has tried to rule. Gifts have been given, lies told, insincerity hidden in the shadows. Armies march and armies die, more people are swept from the fields of life, to build more armies, so they can die, And the circle continues. Insanity is his name and his motto is " I come in peace ". Tell that to the hundreds of million who have already died, in the name of insanity. Whose shoes will he wear next, to achieve the life of comfort, born on the backs of the dead and dying. What new weapon will insanity create. From the minds of men insanity is born, To live in a continuous stream of death, Only to die and leave destruction behind, For the next movement towards insanity. 10/23/15 Contest Promote Peace not War
