They Are Falling

They are falling....

As darkness engulfs the city,
As shadows rush past the roads
As sirens wail, desperate
They are falling....

As the ravaged scream in despair
As the insane bleeds to death
As the cries are reverberated
They are falling....

As the wondrous beasts soar
As the dark warriors drop
As the fire rages, rises
They are falling....

As the crooked play chess
The crippled fall in war
As the bloody sun groans
They are falling....

As the water runs dry
The heart withers too
As the muffled roar dies
They are falling....

As the walls push in
There is nowhere to flee
As the burning throat cries
They are falling....

Those oppressed,
Those innocent,
Those people there,
Are falling....
