They Are Back
Deep in the mist a shadow moved through snow
The stalking of the wolf I know
Then two then three and four
It looked like many more
Moving with intent and plan
Not supposed to be a threat to man
But now included in their prey
Carefully we now hike today
No longer is it safe to walk unarmed
And grey wolves don’t belong where sheep are farmed
The home of the wolf will never be the same
It was changed forever when the humans came
They can’t live together with the livestock and the pet
All are among their dinner fare and man their greatest threat
