They Are All Animals And

Lions, dolphins, hummingbirds and kangaroos
They have lots of things in common 
Guesses please….
They are all animals. Yes.
They are alive. We hope.
They are all mobile. Uh-huh.
They have two eyes.  Good.
Long pause….
They are…
Um…
They….
Anything else?
I give up.
They are all on money somewhere.
Lions in South Africa,
Dolphins in Iceland.
Hummingbirds in Brazil,
and kangaroos in Australia.

I'm going to tell my former daughter-in-law who teaches fifth grade. She's always hot for ideas!
