“The woods are lovely, dark, and deep. . . “ Robert Frost These woods are deep. Tonight they are not dark, though, for a fog enshrouds me, but unlike Robert Frost, who stopped with awe to watch his forest fill with snow, I’m filled with dread. My car went dead, and I am lost!

I don't like fog.' or lonely roads; or dark woods, but they're O K in a poem, and I get to remind myself not to go there..' apart from this I enjoyed the visit..' L O L)) Take care.'

AH, a bit of comic relief in the midst of all things ghoulish and misty. Nice treatment of the theme with a real life possibility.

Andie, like the pic but the way you present the poem into different reactions from persons is nice.. one a possible person that in something thats deep and dark is still awestruck and one that feels fear.. =`) creative! about my dark poem, weeee perversions was actually my original title then sweetest agony then when i read it again and again different dark and deep scenes comes to mind hence i just changed it to general term.. =`) thanks!~Olive Eloisa =`)

ha ha I know the feeling I did a parody of this very same Robert Frost poem, too, many years ago. Well, not too many, just a few I guess. I am trying to think of the title I gave it, it fails me at this minute, but the first line goes "Whose woods these are, mox nix to me..." and the last line is "And years to go before I die..." it is sort of a Frost, Maya Angelou and Edgar Alan Poe murder poem. I will find it today.

Hope its fiction dear Andrea. I'll soon be taking Christina to school, about half an hour drive away if I take the short- cut, but I have to pass along fields were not many people are seen, and getting stucked in the middle of nowhere is something I'm scared of, but Im taking my risk : ).Enjoyed your post.

With the lack of chivalry like we have today, it probably would not help her for a guy to pass by anyway. But I bet she can change a tire or prime her own carberator. Or is that carbohydrate?
