These Three Words

Three words are of little meaning in the grand scheme of things Yet somehow, they mean so much to me And here I am, about to say them to you Of no grace or benevolence are these three words I shall utter For they are a selfish desire, Vain and vulgar But I cannot keep quiet any longer To do so would be to endure true misery that an honorable man might However, I am nothing if not dishonorable These three words that only lead to pain and suffering, These three words that will be nothing but a defamation, I shall utter now: I love you
