These Tears Hold More Than Water

if following is wrong
how am i not supposed to get lost?

take me away
take me now
to your safehaven that you have built

beneath this bombshelter lies
a nuclear factory

how should i breath
when all i inhale
is the exhales of humanity

am i not my own?
for you try to change me
and somehow...

it works

now i know that i cannot be free from my past
because it will always return

and haunt me

like

a

ghost

the end of my life
will be the end of yours
and his
and hers
and theirs

because i am not an individual any longer
i am now one of you

or have always been...
