These Shadows

These shadows fall
  stretching out inch by inch
  tracing the sun movements
mid-morning grays
 cast below tall oaks
 and sugar maples
where whispers haunt the ground
 silent effigies of images lost
 faded into shadows
memories that walk
 in forgotten times.

Our memories walking in shadows of forgotten times...what a great image. Nicely penned!

….the physics of the micro <---> macro says reality is a synonomous expression ….meaning not only does the flow of sun light cast shadows, but it does so because it too (as all 'reality') is but a changing 3d shadow cast by the flow of time...…. stan sand

I really like this. A feeling of longing beautifully evoked. xomo
