These Scars

these scars do not phase me
these scars are my story
these scars shine bright like the stars
these scars give me something to believe in
these scars have a story that has yet been told
these scars covered by my pants leg
these scars show love
these scars seem less important every day
these scars make me sane
these scars give me nothing to hide
these scars holding on tight

these scars have yet to phase me
these scars tell a story
these scars have nothing to hide
these scars see stars
these scars are just scars
these scars are my scars
