These Four Walls

I've existed between these four walls
for as long I can remember
Nothing will be the same after
I grew to be the woman that I am
      Between these four walls
I faced so many obstacles
I saw his smile for the last time
         Between these four walls
    I cried a million tears
and I looked out the window
praying that one day things would
   get better and they did
   Between these four walls
         It's who I am
    I learned how to stop
       being scared
    between these four falls
   They know all my secrets
and they were my best friend
 before real friendships existed
    Between these four walls
The place that I will always remember
Now I have to move on with my life
     Erase these old memories
and add new ones in a new house
       It makes me sad
     Cause all I've ever known
     is between these four walls
