These Days Old Man

Shocking, those stockings, suspenders and all.
In old days, told to pull yourself up by your bootstraps.
These days, old man, you just don’t want to fall.
And truly you’ve had your share of mishaps…so
Go forth, adventure, into the old age zone
Put on your thick glasses and disposables.
And for goodness sake, don’t go it alone.
It is not yet time for condolences!

This is so true, Kim. Can't believe I am physically slowing down, although my mind does not.

I remember 63...barely. I still don't do "suspenders", however. I find it incredibly ironic that our lives are generally spent racing to get to the point where we are forced...physically...to slow down. A very a propos piece, Kim.
