These Are the Masks of Our Lives
They call it putting your face-on
Which face fits for today?
Church face? Work face? School face?
Shaved face? Waxed face? Maybelline eyes?
Hey woman don’t be a *****, nice girls they don’t gripe
Man child be strong don’t you ever, ever, ever stop to cry
It’s fine dining night. It’s time to put on your fancy face.
Wherever you are, whatever you’re doing
Heaven forbid you feel out of place.
