There's a Train Coming

Poet: Ken Jordan
Poem:  There"s a Train Coming
Edited by: Sparkle Jordan
written: September 2012

Someday
a train
will
come -

Though
for now
It's
iron wheels
are
silent -

For
we know
not the hour,
that
the train
will come -

It's
schedule
is random,
this train
can
come
unannounced -

We
better be
ready
to board
when
the day
come -

I ask
 the
Great Spirit
to bless
us
to see
tomorrow's
dawn -

For
Time waits
on
no one,
It
just goes
until
it's gone -

a train
is
come -

someday
it's
coming
for
all of us -

That's why
I surrender
my soul
 to God -

Once
I was lost,
and
confused,
but
now
I'm found -

For now
the old
steel tracks
are silent -

But,
someday
a
train
will come -
