Theres a Monster In My Closet

The monster in my closet,
I swear I saw its claws. As
the night draws in he waits
till dark, as if afraid of day
light as I am of the dark.
That's when my stark terror
starts. A Shadow of gloom,
looming then swiftly moving
around my room. Moving in
to seal my doom!
