There's a Man Going 'Round Taking Names
There's a man going 'round taking names
I heard a helicopter flying low
An unknown soul onboard
A label tied to a big toe
A car driven to fast
I am certain; your name has been taken down
A name was given to you
A surname has been passed on; to you
There's people going 'round taking names
Names, isn’t just names
It might be the name of someone you love
It might be the name of someone you loved
There's a man going 'round taking names
I have wanted to know a name
The name; her name
Not to take it
To whisper it
