There you will be

There you will be If I could step a foot into eternity and reach open the door there you would be, waiting for me. Paws that waited what seemed an eternity to you. Ready and up you go jumping on my legs, tail wagging, you would entice me with your glistening eyes, your velvet ears and soft warm coat saying mama come with me, I have so much to show you. There we would go, there you would be, guiding me like a scout through glorious trails that led to that garden. The garden that welcomes the rainbow bridge passengers. We stop at your butterfly bush, your whiskers winking in excitement as the butterflies make their descend to your nose. We reluctantly leave, but excited to move on and see more. There you will be with me leading me down to the river. The river I heard about in song, the river of the water of life. We stop and breathe in the breath of heaven. Its refreshing to our souls. Again, you jump up on my legs as if to alert me, I look and walking, and whistling are Uncle and Grandpa. You wait for them to sit, they stroke your forehead, smile and begin to speak to you, and you answer back. I stand there frozen in awe and in earths time. This language I yet cannot speak, it is not my time to be here yet, so earth bound I am again. I wake up and realize I am still here, and you are there, but you left me with eternal hope. You left me with Angel dreams. There you will be by the river, waiting for me, oh the talks we will have.
