There Was Such a Day
Waters clad in diamond sun light
Stretched as far as the eye could see
Waves frolic at edge of white sand
My feet dance on sand castle dreams
Stretched as far as the eye could see
Ocean beckons me softlly, come
My feet dance on sand castle dreams
Come share my warmth; golden laughter
Ocean beckons me softly, come
Blue waters seek to bath my toes
Come share my warmth; golden laughter
Sycamore and pine whispered go
Blue waters seek to bath my toes
Trail blazer's smiles, tease my senses
Sycamore and pine whispered go
Shells and seagulls played hide and seek
Trail blazer's smiles, tease my senses
Some walk hand in hand, some embrace
Shells and seagulls played hide and seek
A day filled with golden treasures
Some walked hand in hand some embrace
Waters clad in diamond sun light
I stayed to write on this glad day
Waves frolic at edge of white sand
