There Was No Other Kind of Love In My Eyes Part 5

So he invited me to his mum's birthday party. Well that was unexpected really, and because this is me who hate those sitting-at-the-table kinds of family gatherings. I hate them so dearly. Now I know that this is the fear and not having good companion I hate but nonetheless that time I felt: Noooo! I cannot go! First I hate this style and second- what will people think?! But the thing is- I do love his mum more dearly than I hate those things. I decided to accept the invitation. I have told him I am bad at parties and that I hope I will not spoil the fun. He said: "Do not worry at all, we are going to be the greatest hit of all!" And actually, I really was, to be (a bit immodestly but) honest. Till the end of my days I will remember his uncle, the King of the Dance Floor and that was such fun to dance and laugh. And him mocking me: "I am so bad at parties! I will so much spoil the whole fun!" There is another one thing I will not forget. The looks of his brother's girlfriend. Observing me looking at him. I noticed them, I felt them. I knew them speaking- what way do you look at him? Who is he to you? How do you really feel about him? They were not nasty. They were just curious. But apart from this dear love I gave him, there was no other kind of love in my eyes.
