There Was a River

Nobody knew that
Here there was a river
It was making a sweet murmur
with tides and waves...........

Nobody knew that
There was a river in my mind
It was flowing gently and silently
to your minds
It had neither banks nor water
Neither tides nor waves
It had no boundaries.........

Nobody knew that
There was a river in my memory
It was murmuring besides the cottage
of my village home
In my childhood memories
in very deep of my heart......

Nice sentimental piece. Liked the river analogy.
