There Was a Bevy of Beauty In My 56 Chevy
THERE WAS A BEVY OF BEAUTY IN MY ’56 CHEVY
Dig it dude give me a chance to try
Listen guy, I ain’t that high
So let me attempt to tell you what will transpire
And I promise, as I relate this I won’t get any higher
So it seems they schooled us in the best way to be
And when confronted as to who said it was the best way, not me
I’m just standing here leaning against a ‘62 chevy with a hemi and quads
And I’m telling you, the unjust and impure will fight with squads
This is obviously the way we need to be
Perhaps it’s some kind of a degree
At one time they may show us a sign
Until that we should all stiffen up our spine
This ain’t going to be easy if you deny that you believe
If we all stick together the legions of us can achieve
Because I’ve heard on your millionth falsehood you becomes impervious to fire
But what happens if we don’t each want to receive our license to be a liar
