way off into the distance
the purr of traffic
the endless flow of people 
hurrying and scurrying
busy with their lives
going forward
making plans
moving steadily 
charging ahead
not looking back
never questioning or hesitating
not slowing down for regrets

More haste, less speed has never rung truer. I wonder how many people out there take time out to actually reflect upon and enjoy 'the now'? For rat race read robot race. Nice write Line. Cheers - Gary

Thanks, Gary... this feels a little dated due to covid having slowed things down dramatically. And I dare hope that for many the pace will not ever go back to what it was pre-covid.
