There She Vanishes With the Night
There she vanishes with the night,
Such shadowy picture from a far,
Quite splendid, the moon is tonight,
But, how can I enjoy such scenery if she's not around?
I remember how she used to gaze at the midnight sky,
Looking for her star, dreaming she could fly.
In the midnight, under a cold dark sky,
She would lie down with no sense of time,
Like if nothing else matters,
Like if it was her last night in this life.
I remember that she had quite a power over me,
Her touch kept me warm, her words kept me sane,
One touch and I would never known,
One gaze and everything would change...
But there she vanishes with the night,
I'm stuck between realities,
I have lost every sense of mine,
Numbed and drained until the last drop,
I've lost my path, now I can't come back.
But I must be strong, for I am dreaming... that I'm living.
