There On Time

the view is different
depending where you sit
on the passenger side
or behind the wheel

no longer content
or liking the view
I'm switching seats
and I'm gonna steer

I couldn't be sure
of the roads we traveled
it all looked so close
in the rear view mirror

I'll get us there quicker
I know the right way
and I don't need a map
for where we are heading
so buckle your seat belt
and enjoy the ride
baby, I'll get us
there right on time
