There Is No Shadow To the Sun

There is no shadow to the Sun
nor boundary to his abundant rays
he doesn't know a moment's peace
neither the meaning of a "root."

Wherever he tries to cast a shadow
each time his light will be there first
By Jove, indeed, a high price to pay
for wishing to see everything.

Inspecting all, all will be there to see you
no piece of you a secret and your whole is bare
without even a speckle of the shadow of an ant
for your soul to find rest and refuge there.

An interesting approach to your poem, Archontoula. You must have read what the poet laureate Ted Hughes once wrote: when writing a poem try to imagine you yourself are the object...And try and view outward as if you are the object itself. You certainly achieved that here - Very well done! My very best regards! :) john P.s A seven.

It is trully motivating hearing this from you, John. I haven't read Hughes's tip, although I have read his work. Thank you for the comment and the 7!! :)
