There Is a Hammer On My Keyboard

There is a hammer on my keyboard
Taking me hostage
Reminding me of something I wanted to do
Yesterday but did not get around to it

I stare at it, and glare at it,
Angry beyond belief.
That I kept saying I wanted to
hang those sixty-five canvases,
and yet, there they are, not one hung up.

The mean hammer has been
Thrown across the room now,
It no longer bothers us,

My gloating keyboard and me.

Fun ending... gotta take care of that keyboard, it's been through a lot with you & your muse! ;)

It sure has. I have a new one; my husband did not like trying to type on one where I have worn the C and V off the keys with cut and paste.

I sat in a recliner and stared at the walls today, and finally MADE myself by sheer force finish the project. It is fabulous, but now my desk looks like a hoarder with rats is living on it.

LOL. Sounds like your muse wants to be at the keyboard :)

We always want to be at the keyboard, eating our chicken pot pie all over the keys.
