There Are Times
There are times when I just feel like giving up and my back is against the ropes
There are times when I feel like there's just no hope
Sometimes I feel like the whole world is against me
And I have no chance at succeeding
There are times when I don't feel loved
And no one's there to lift me up
There are times when I wonder if anyone's there
And do they hear my cry of despair
There are times when I feel that no one understands me
It's like they're listening but ignoring me
There are times when I just feel like screaming
Screaming for someone to set me free
There are times when I feel that no one's on my side
And I wonder when Has the real me died
There are times when I feel so happy
And no one can take my joy away from me
There are times when I feel so angry
And no one or anything can knock me
Sometimes I feel like I can conquer the world
And if anyone gets in my way, they'll find out to never again mess with this girl
There are times when life seems so hard
And all I can do is surrender it all to God
There are times when I feel like my life is screwed up so bad
Just because of the life I once had
There are times when I'm not satisfied with what I see
And every time I turn around, I'm looking in the mirror staring back at me
