There Are Many

There are many things I love in life,
That I know I'll never have,
When riches bring the perfect wife
To someone else's laugh...
There are many times I fell upon,
The strongest pair of knees,
To look for something way beyond,
The forest fore the trees...
There are many times I felt the hand,
That turned my other cheek,
In hopes that one would understand,
That they're the one who's weak...
There are many times that I have cried,
But never let it show,
Just silently and deep inside,
So know one else would know...
There will be so many times,
That life will let you down,
But only in our death we find,
Why it was so profound...

A touching poem Terrence. To wish that things could've been better, Always there is someone who has "the best". Money, gold, power, and "everything" - do not think they live so happily when all is said and done. Very well written Terrence, like it. oxox love / / Anne-Lise :)
