There Are Flowers In You

Your smile
like the mouth of a rose.
Wide open, pink.
Invites me to get closer,
for a sniff of your breath.

Your glance like a violet.
Magnetic, blue.
Pulls me in,
to the infinite depths
of your eyes.

Your words
written from your soul's petals.
Beckon me
to their meters and rhymes,
syllables and rhythms,
every step of the way.
