Therapy of Pie
Every child should learn to bake pie.
Here is the very reason why.
To make a pie requires great love,
And that is where the secret lies.
When daily life does push and shove;
Scent of pie like protecting glove,
Can take a mind to a safe space.
Form of grace from heaven above;
Creating a pie slows life’s pace.
Allows a break from man’s rate race;
The smell of spice a splendid drug.
Now vent the crust with smiley face:
Heat your oven and fill your mug;
Relax and like a magic rug;
You’ll be wrapped up warm and snug,
Ensconced in an aroma hug.
