Then There Were Three-Pet

my heart has been caught
although there are three
most often then not
it's lola and me

together we walk
together we ride
together we talk
always side by side

she throws me a scowl
as i head off to work
then cries her lonely howl
so i feel like a jerk

when my day is done
hers has just begun
it's time for some fun
let's go for a run

and then there are three
chasing after me

I have three Chihuahuas, Lola is the only female, she is the mother of both Gizmo and Chico, i rescued her from the grasp of a breeder and she never knew love or how to play until she became mine, she is forever grateful, i started singing to her when i first got her and now she requires that i sing to her every day...
