Then I Wake Up

I had a dream with us touching again No kiss on the lips, I want you as a friend A friend who’s on top and is pushing my buttons Forwards and backwards, your pace seems to stutter I had a dream with you entering me Just like I wanted, but why can’t I breathe? Your gaze seems so dazed, your eyelids are hooded You’re staring at me but you’re not really looking You mutter something, your voice drops an octave Your hands on my waist let me know that I locked it I lead you to nowhere, get under the covers But then I wake up missing my selfish lover
