Then Came Love So Hard To Close
Looking past the many doors I have entered
Never there was one so hard to shut
Then came love so hard to close.
I never thought it would be this way
Her heart was kind and ever so dear
Then came love so hard to close.
Once we shared the little things
Together we sat and ever so near
Then came love so hard to close.
We bared the labors of our youth
Created a life that we did so share
Then came love so hard to close.
The better or worse came in the night
It darkened our lives and set us apart.
Then came love so hard to close.
We built walls between us to quiet our life
Designed doors for keeps to secure our stay
Then came love so hard to close.
