Then

She’s gone now

far from where she used to be,

here.

And if one day she came this way again

it would not be for me

yet once upon a time

in a fairy tale too sweet

to be beyond the dream it was

I loved her

where was that then?

Here?

Is this the ground I walked on

the sky I saw

and air I breathed?

But then it seemed to be much more

than this.
