Them and Us
We might feel a bit too biased
About the communism doctrine
Though we won’t be too surprised
To find it’s the same old scheme
We were living through and through
Earning, spending, gaining weight
In a slowly moving queue
Checking in before it’s late
That’s what communism about
And its twin capitalism
Sadly they can’t live without
Their shared corruption scheme
Brother communism is cheaper
You don’t have to pay a lot
And in case you won’t look deeper
You can get most that you want
But you wouldn’t need too much
As the ones who think they’re free
We concur in such-and-such
With the reds to make our fee
Not too small, just by occasion
And for ages it’s the same
We could be a worthy nation
But the government’s too lame.
