Their Future In Our Hands

We have made them live and exist.
With life and breath they sent as gift.
A little treasure we hope to keep.
Forever, our prayers for they be blessed.
They are our second life,
the ones who complete us.
They need our love,
especially our time.
Material things aren't enough sometimes.
We were given a task,
a big responsibility.
To raise them well,
give them a peaceful home to live.
touch and hug them,
Show them that you care.
Spare them time,
Listen to them.
Because their future is in our hands.
They are our children.
Mold their life in the best way we can.

They are a huge responsibility and the best gift God gives to us. I enjoyed this thoughtful poem.
