Their Eyes
A man alone, a debonair headed for the bar,
ordered his drinks, turned around and …
A classy woman alone, quietly sitting at her
table zipping her apple martini caught his eye.
She looked up and their eyes met, held them.
The music started and he approached, stood
in front of her and held his hand out while
looking intently at her beautiful green eyes.
She took his hand, stood up while gazing at
his dazzling blue eyes and silently walked to
the middle of the dance floor hand in hand,
staring at each other with their eyes glowing.
With the Tango music, he held her close with
his right arm around and right hand by her spine
at her mid back and moved with the rhythm,
displaying cat like moves or dramatic attitude.
They flowed with intensity, passion, sensuality
in slow, smooth moves, abrupt moves, quick
steps or rapid foot patterns with each tempo.
The music stopped and they just stood there.
He took and kissed her right hand and they
took a good look at each other, held hands
walking out, glancing at each other without
saying a word for their eyes said it all ...
