Part 19

only a robot can recognize
that Nature's laws are robotic
so break the law then
quite effortless really
when the eyelids rip their bindings
perceiving in greater ranges never hurts
otherwise an incoherent bedlam
over how to meet reality and survive
when reality doesn't kill you
as fast as it used to
what kind of mind can ask a question
it cannot answer
I'll tell you one thing
feelings can't be trusted
envy is a feeling and so is hate
deception is their copilot
they are no yardstick
nor is certainty which can be fooled
as easy as falling down stairs
instinctively fearing new data
that can rip through a made up mind
like chalk through a blackboard
people cast statues in their heads
in a bioelectrical puppet theater
its contents rubberized
solving only rubber problems
stretched to inside out
pardon me while I begin ROTFLMAO
if the human world is a world of interpretation
what then are the laws of interpretation
what then are the laws of cultural decay
well I'll just ding dong tell you
1. interpretation is the heartbeat of conjecture
which is a blood vessel away from hallucination
2. smart in some ways and stupid in others
is really stupid
3. being curious helps
4. mockery is our only defense
against the infamy of a destroyer planet
the forest and ocean floor is carpeted
with the teeth and bones of the dead
5. we might refrain somewhat
from our love if not worship
of the unknown
and be more inclined to worship
a reduction of the unknown
6. comparison is a simple formula
blessed comparison
compare yourself to your children
they are an improved version
if we let the future die we die
besides which there's a conspiracy
to suppress fun on this planet
so we chase away thoughts that frighten
try to hide them in the basement
where they form subterranean alliances
with fairy tale ogres and hungry animals
it is then that our ideas become a prison
when they cease to reorient and simply repeat
and we can only act a role
which adds to the human burden of pretense
you are your ideas pick good ones
ideas that can run like horses
drink from wild rushing streams
this should come naturally to us
we are filled with becoming
the freedom to have a future
due only to the power of description
from where categories lift us
like angels
far beyond a state of wish
genius fills us with suspicion
only because we are so easily fooled
even when on guard
(to be continued)
